I move:

That, notwithstanding anything in the Standing Orders relative to Public Business, the Seanad shall meet at 1.00 p.m. on Tuesday, 11th December, 2018 and the Order of Business shall be proposed at 2.00 p.m.

I move amendment No. 1:

After “Public Business,”, to insert “(i) subject to the making of an Order for Committee Stage of the Health (Regulation of Termination of Pregnancy) Bill 2018 [Dáil], the Seanad shall meet at 2.00 p.m. on Monday, 10th December, 2018, to consider Committee Stage of the Health (Regulation of Termination of Pregnancy) Bill 2018 [Dáil] and, unless otherwise ordered, the following arrangements shall apply in relation to that day’s sitting:(a) Standing Orders 29 and 30 shall stand suspended;

(b) there shall be no Order of Business.

(c) the proceedings on Committee Stage of the Health (Regulation of Termination of Pregnancy) Bill 2018 [Dáil] shall adjourn at 8.00 p.m, if not previously concluded.”
