I have received notice from Senator Gerard Craughwell that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Jobs, Enterprise and Innovation to state what date the Construction Contracts Act 2013 will be implemented.

I have also received notice from Senator Marc MacSharry of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to confirm if patients with breast pain referred by general practitioners, GPs, in the north west to the national cancer control programme symptomatic breast clinic in Galway are having their referrals returned to the GPs without assessment and with instructions for the patient to self-monitor with the aid of a booklet and form-filling for three months and to account for the effects that this three-month delay will have on the 7% of women whose symptoms are as a result of a life-limiting condition such as breast cancer.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to address urgently the lengthy waiting list for urology appointments at Letterkenny General Hospital by appointing a new consultant urologist and also by making provision for essential equipment.

I have also received notice from Senator Hildegarde Naughton of the following matter:

The need for the Minister of State at the Department of Arts, Heritage and Gaeltacht to consider alternative policy approaches to supporting vulnerable and disadvantaged island communities.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion and they will be taken now.
