I have received notice from Senator Mary Ann O’Brien that, on the motion for the Commencement of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to provide an update on the Health Research Board’s review of the international evidence on fluoridation of water and to indicate when its findings are likely to be published given that it was expected in December 2014.
I have also received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Health to outline the number of people on the waiting list for orthodontic treatment in the public health service in Galway and Mayo, to detail the length of time people are waiting by year for the past five years and the age range in deciles and to clarify what plan the Health Service Executive, HSE, has in place to address the backlog.
I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to clarify the current position in respect of housing grants that will be made available for the adaptation of local authority houses to accommodate individuals within a family who have a physical or intellectual disability.
I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Transport, Tourism and Sport to address the public concerns regarding the proposed routes for the Galway outer city bypass, the process of route selection and the sustainable solutions that are needed to solve Galway’s traffic problems.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion and they will be taken now.
