I have received notice from Senator James Heffernan that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister of State at the Department of Finance with responsibility for the Office of Public Works to outline the cost of maintaining and insuring recently closed Garda stations and to state whether he has considered giving preference to community and voluntary groups to use these buildings for community use, in particular, the temporary use of the former Garda station in Kilfinane, County Limerick, by Kilfinane Forest AFC.
I regard the matter raised by the Senator as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and it will be taken at the conclusion of business.
