I have received notice from Senator Jillian van Turnhout that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to outline when organisations will be advised of allocations under the scheme to support national organisations in the community and voluntary sector 2014-2016 in view of correspondence on 29 May from his Department to advise that an announcement would be made in early June and suggesting that organisations consider putting staff on protective notice pending the decision.
I have also received notice from Senator Averil Power of the following matter:
The need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Foreign Affairs and Trade to indicate if he accepts the recommendations in Trocaire's June 2014 briefing paper on discouraging corporate involvement with illegal Israeli settlements, if he will implement its recommendations for the Government and if he will lobby the EU to implement its recommendations for the European institutions.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
