I have received notice from Senator John Crown that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister of Health to consider vasculitis centres of excellence and to increase awareness of the disease, and given the existence of over 15 types of primary vasculitis and many forms of secondary vasculitis, each form is individually a rare disease and, consequently, the diagnosis may not be recognised in the early stages by clinicians unfamiliar with vasculitis.
I have also received notice from Senator Mary Moran of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Social Protection to address the rate of carer's allowance for a single person caring for a child with a disability, taking into account that such individuals must care for the child on his or her own and do not have a second household income.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
