I have notice from Senator David Cullinane that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to give an update on the implementation of the Higgins report, the establishment of new hospital groupings and specifically the impact on Waterford Regional Hospital.
I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to outline his plans for the provision of suitably qualified teachers to implement a national roll-out of Chinese language and culture - Mandarin - as a short course from September 2014.
I have also received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh of the following matter:
Go míneoidh an tAire Ealaíon, Oidhreachta agus Gaeltachta cén fáth nár scaoileadh comhaid na Roinne sin faoin riail 30 bliain chuig an gCartlann Náisiúnta go fóill i mbliana, seachas cinn a bhain leis an gCoiste Logainmneacha, agus cén uair an mbeidh na comhaid cuí ar fáil.
I have also received notice from Senator Jillian van Turnhout of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Social Protection to update the House on progress towards development of the youth guarantee implementation plan for submission to the European Commission and to outline the consultation held with key partners since the stakeholder forum in October.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
