I have received notice from Senator Jillian van Turnhout that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

In light of the national stroke awareness week, 10 to 16 June 2013, its focus on the Act FAST campaign launched by the Irish Heart Foundation in 2010 and the finding by the Irish Heart Foundation's behaviours and attitudes survey that despite a significant increase in awareness of stroke warning signs, just 52% of people would call 999 immediately in the event of stroke, the need for the Minister for Health to indicate the action he will take to support the next stage in the Act FAST campaign to increase levels of behavioural change.

I have also received notice from Senator David Cullinane of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline the outpatient waiting times at Waterford Regional Hospital in the areas of dermatology, ear nose and throat, orthopaedics and ophthalmology and to indicate if the hospital is meeting the national waiting times targets of all patients seeing a consultant within 12 months of a referral.

I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to confirm categorically that the future of St. Agnes's specialist preschool and Ballaghderg specialist preschool, County Donegal, are secure.

I have also received notice from Senator Trevor Ó Clochartaigh of the following matter:

I have also received notice from Senator Mary Ann O'Brien of the following matter:

The need for the Minister of Communications, Energy and Natural Resources to outline the reason the Commission for Communications Regulation applies a 1% levy on all texts sent through premium numbers as part of charity fund-raising campaigns and if he could clarify this practice is legal under Irish or European law.

I regard the matters raised by Senators van Turnhout, Cullinane, Ó Domhnaill and Ó Clochartaigh as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret I have been obliged to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator O'Brien as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
