I have received notice from Senator Jillian van Turnhout that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Children and Youth Affairs to confirm the number of protection referrals made by the child and family services unit of the Reception and Integration Agency to the HSE about children in direct provision and to state whether the HIQA national standards for the protection and welfare of children apply to children in direct provision, particularly where a referral has been made to the HSE in this regard.
I have also received notice from Senator Thomas Byrne of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to address the inequities in the household charge due to varying levels of services between local authorities, within local authorities and between different types of housing estate, depending on whether they have been taken in charge.
I have also received notice from Senator Marc MacSharry of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for the Environment, Community and Local Government to clarify immediately the terms of reference of the local electoral area boundary committee, particularly the term of reference relating to the five borough councils.
I have also received notice from Senator Brian Ó Domhnaill of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to guarantee the future of the Church of Ireland College of Education on its existing stand-alone campus in Rathmines.
I have also received notice from Senator Martin Conway of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Transport to confirm that work will begin on the train stop in Crusheen, County Clare, in 2013.
I regard the matters raised by the Senators van Turnhout, Byrne, MacSharry and Ó Domhnaill as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret I have to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Conway as the Minister has no official responsibility in the matter.
