I have received notice from Senator Averil Power that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

To ask the Minister for Social Protection to detail the progress, if any, that has been made by the interdepartmental group on enhancing the provision of school-age child care to assist in meeting the child care needs of the clients of her Department, including lone parents, and whether proposals have been submitted to the Cabinet to improve such provision as per her commitment to the Oireachtas in July 2012.
I have also received notice from Senator Colm Burke of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Health to address matters which have arisen at the all-Ireland national paediatrics service for epidermolysis bullosa and skin fragility disorders as a result of the capping of permanent posts within the HSE.
I have also received notice from Senator Jim Walsh of the following matter:
The need for the Minister for Children to make a statement confirming that the additional protections afforded to children under the forthcoming children's referendum amendment will equally apply to the unborn child.
I regard the matters raised by Senators Averil Power and Colm Burke as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. I regret I have had to rule out of order the matter raised by Senator Jim Walsh as it is more suited to a substantive motion.
