I have received notice from Senator Marie Maloney that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, she proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to approve funding for eye gaze technology for a young boy (details supplied) with cerebral palsy in County Kerry.

I have also received notice from Senator Thomas Byrne of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Education and Skills to outline the reason for the absence from the schools building programme 2012-16 of Eureka secondary school, Kells and O'Carolan College, Nobber, County Meath.

I have also received notice from Senator Mark Daly of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline the current position on the State compensation scheme for HIV or hepatitis C victims of contaminated blood products; and if there are proposed changes to the scheme.

I have also received notice from Senator John Whelan of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health to outline the public health measures in place to monitor the growing incidence of TB in the community and the measures in place to monitor the level of TB in schools and other public institutions.

I have also received notice from Senator Fidelma Healy Eames of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Justice and Equality to review the current position on the issuance of visas so as to best serve Ireland's economic needs where potential investors, talented workers, students and tourists are concerned.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment. I have selected the matters raised by Senators Marie Moloney, Thomas Byrne, Mark Daly and John Whelan and they will be taken at the conclusion of business. Senator Fidelma Healy Eames may give notice on another day of the matter she wishes to raise.
