I wish to make an amendment to the Order of Business. We had planned to have a sos from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. so that the staff would have time to compile Report Stage amendments. With the agreement of the House, I suggest that we extend the time for Committee Stage from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. and have a sos from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. I ask for the co-operation of the House in trying to get the amendments through. We have got through a very busy week without having to guillotine the debate. I ask the House to agree to amend the Order of Business as I have suggested.

Does that change the concluding time?

I do not know yet. I will inform the House later.

In order to be helpful I will point out that as far as matters have been dealt with on Committee Stage I do not intend to submit any amendments in my name on Report Stage. I suspect Report Stage will be quite short.

We will not be too upset about that.

I hope we will deal with my two remaining amendments before 2 p.m. In that case I will not submit any amendments on Report Stage.

Is it agreed that we will allow Committee Stage to continue until 2 p.m. and have a sos from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m.?

Unless Committee Stage is concluded earlier.
