I have received notice from Senator Bannon that, on the motion for the Adjournment of the House today, he proposes to raise the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Arts, Sport and Tourism to make a statement on the up to date position of the application for the construction of the new swimming pool at the Mall complex, Longford.

I have also received notice from Senator Henry of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Health and Children to outline the reasons for the non-implementation of the Medical Practitioners (Amendment) Act 2002.

I have also received notice from Senator Higgins of the following matter:

The need for the Minister for Communications, Marine and Natural Resources to outline the proposals to reform or change the terms of reference of the Broadcasting Commission of Ireland and to clarify if he has the power to put a stay on any licences awarded by the commission.

I regard the matters raised by the Senators as suitable for discussion on the Adjournment and they will be taken at the conclusion of business.
