I understand the Leader of the House wishes to propose an amendment to the Order of Business.

Notwithstanding what was said this morning on the Order of Business, the leaders of the parties met outside the House and it was agreed that we would proceed to have a debate on Northern Ireland with a time limit. We contacted the Taoiseach's office about the matter. I therefore propose that when the statements finish, we should proceed to have a debate on Northern Ireland.

Is the Leader specifying a time limit?

Half an hour, as agreed this morning. Statements are calculated to finish at 5.30 p.m. but may not go to that time.

Is that agreed? Agreed.
