I thank Deputies for their interest in and contribution to the passage of this Bill through the Dáil. I am pleased that the key features of the Bill have been welcomed and supported by all sides during the debate. The provision for a five-year minimum term for gift vouchers and other protections contained in the Bill will be of real benefit to the very many consumers who give and receive gift vouchers. The amendments made to the Bill have improved it considerably and they are important provisions that I believe significantly strengthen the protections provided for in the Bill. I look forward to returning the Bill to the Seanad, to its enactment shortly thereafter and to having it in force in time for the peak Christmas buying period for gift vouchers.

Question put and agreed to.
