Before coming to the Order of Business, I propose to deal with a notice under Standing Order 32. I call Deputy Feighan.

I seek leave under Standing Order 32 to move the adjournment of the Dáil to discuss a matter of national importance, namely, the continued embargo on employment and recruitment in the HSE which is putting people's lives at risk. This situation pertains in my area in the Plunkett Home, Boyle, where elderly people have been denied day care services for more than two months because this unit cannot re-employ a person who was out ill. This position must be changed. I have called for this matter to be debated and to date the Chair has not facilitated this.

A Deputy:

Hear, hear.

Having considered the matter raised, it is not in order under Standing Order 32.
