I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Michael Ring - to ask the Minister for Transport if he has met with representatives of multinational companies in the west in respect of their concerns regarding the infrastructure of the region and its effect on the future of their businesses and ask that he make a full statement on the matter; (2) Deputy John O'Donoghue - the proposal to make the Six Nations Rugby Championship and the Heineken Cup free to air; (3) Deputy Brian O'Shea - the need for a speech and language therapy service at St. Joseph's special school, Parnell Street, Waterford, and at St. Martin's special school, Kilcohan, Waterford; (4) Deputy Seymour Crawford - to urge the Minister for Social Protection to discuss the serious situation regarding the failure of many farm families and self-employed to receive essential farm assist or jobseeker's allowance based on their actual income rather than a historic or mythical income that they simply do not have, many of these families need urgent financial support; (5) Deputy Kieran O'Donnell - to call on the Minister for Health and Children to urgently address the loss of respite care services, due to be implemented from 14 June next, for 63 individuals with intellectual disabilities and their families in Limerick city; (6) Deputy Noel J. Coonan - the need to alleviate the concerns of staff and pupils at Sacred Heart primary school, Roscrea, County Tipperary, which is a DEIS school, by providing the necessary resources in clinical psychology, counselling, speech and language and occupational therapy services; (7) Deputy John O'Mahony - the need to address the proposed closure of a ten-bed bungalow at Áras Attracta, Swinford, County Mayo; (8) Deputy Aengus Ó Snodaigh - the urgent need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to respond to the premeditated and murderous attack by Israel on the Free Gaza flotilla, which was carrying humanitarian aid to the besieged people of Palestine, by expelling the Israeli ambassador, suspending the EU Association Agreement with Israel, moving to revoke Israel's recent membership of the OECD and adopting a general policy of boycott, divestment and sanctions against Israel; (9) Deputies Paul Connaughton and Phil Hogan - the need to clarify aspects of the EU habitats directive in order to resolve the issue of non-commercial turf cutting on bogs; (10) Deputy Michael McGrath - that the Department of Education and Skills would proceed with an extension to Scoil Niocláis, Frankfield, Douglas, County Cork; (11) Deputy Dan Neville - the potential closure of Bruff FCJ second level school, Bruff, County Limerick; and (12) Deputy Seán Sherlock - to seek the restoration of all dental benefits under the medical card scheme.

The matters raised by Deputies Brian O'Shea, John O'Mahony, Paul Connaughton and Phil Hogan and John O'Donoghue have been selected for discussion.
