I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance: the threat to the most vulnerable children in the country posed by the lack of positive action by the State, which is failing in its duty to protect vulnerable children. According to the annual report of the Ombudsman for Children, complaints about the State's education services made up nearly half of all representations to the ombudsman last year, including complaints about a lack of support for children with special needs.

Tar éis breithniú a dhéanamh ar an ní ardaithe, níl sé in ord faoi Bhuan-Ordú 32. Having considered the matter raised, I have concluded it is not in order under Standing Order 32.
