I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Tom Sheahan — the position on Killarney House; (2) Deputy Joe Carey — the application of Barefield national school, Ennis, County Clare, for a major extension, and that the Minister for Education and Science will allow the project to move to tender stage; (3) Deputy Seymour Crawford — the implications for County Monaghan of the proposal contained in the north-east transformation programme; (4) Deputy Dinny McGinley — cinneadh an Chomhlachta, Iasachtaí Críonna, a gcuid monarchana sa Ghaeltacht a dhúnadh le cailliúint 108 bpost; (5) Deputy Shane McEntee — the Government's response to the significantly increased level of road fatalities to date in 2008 over the same period last year; (6) Deputy Joe McHugh — the number of marine rescues on Lough Foyle in the past 20 years from 1989 to 2007, including dates and times of rescues, and, furthermore, to give a general indication of marine rescue missions in the years preceding 1987 on Lough Foyle, dating back to the foundation of Malin Head Marine Rescue Centre in the early 1900s; (7) Deputy Dan Neville — the building of a new school at Kilfinane; and (8) Deputy Joe Costello — the recent loss of Irish blood donor records in New York.

The matters raised by Deputies Seymour Crawford, Joe Costello, Dinny McGinley and Tom Sheahan have been selected for discussion.
