I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Cooper-Flynn — the need to establish a specific Department for the elderly with responsibility being allocated to a designated Minister; (2) Deputy Harkin — to discuss the provision of a new community school in Ballinamore, County Leitrim and a new school in Dromore West, County Sligo; (3) Deputy Costello — the need for Ireland to sign and ratify the United Nations Protocol on Trafficking (2000) and the Council of Europe Convention Against Action on Trafficking in Human Beings (2005); and (4) Deputy Gormley — the increasing problem of graffiti.

The matters raised by Deputies Costello, Gormley, Cooper-Flynn and Harkin have been selected for discussion.
