I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Neville — the position regarding Athea national school; (2) Deputy Fiona O'Malley — the role science will play in Ireland's future economic growth; (3) Deputy O'Connor — the provision of hospital and community services in Dublin South-West; (4) Deputy Crowe — the future developments of hospital and community services in the south Dublin region; (5) Deputy Cowley — the shortage of beds in Beaumont Hospital to accommodate persons awaiting brain surgery; and (6) Deputy Pat Breen — the provision of a six slice CT scanner for Ennis General Hospital.

The matters raised by Deputies O'Connor, Crowe, Pat Breen and Fiona O'Malley have been selected for discussion. The first two items will be taken together.
