I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Donal Moynihan — to discuss the progress of the decentralisation programme in respect of Macroom; (2) Deputy Ring — that the Minister outline his proposals on the future of the Irish Rail freight market; (3) Deputy Finian McGrath — the need for a debate on a public inquiry into the Stardust fire tragedy; (4) Deputy Cooper-Flynn — that the Minister instruct the NRA to reprioritise roads in the BMW region; (5) Deputy Cowley — that the Minister explain why a school is to lose the equivalent of two teachers due to the withdrawal of funding; (6) Deputy Boyle — that the Minister respond to the reported criticisms of residents of an accommodation centre in Cork; (7) Deputy O'Sullivan — the need for the Minister to appoint a neurologist with support staff to the Mid-Western Regional Hospital as a matter of urgency; (8) Deputy Neville — the inadequate capital funding under EOCP to four groups in County Limerick; (9) Deputy Healy — the need for the Minister to significantly increase Garda manning levels in south County Tipperary; (10) Deputy Catherine Murphy — the urgent need for a missing person's helpline to be re-established without delay; and (11) Deputy Michael D. Higgins — the need to take measures to ensure public safety, compliance with health and safety standards, water quality and planning conditions.

The matters raised by Deputies O'Sullivan, Ring, Donal Moynihan and Catherine Murphy have been selected for discussion.
