I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Neville — A Vision for Change, the report of the expert group on mental health policy; (2) Deputy Costello — the need for the Minister to ensure the future of the Children's Hospital, Temple Street, by transferring it to the proposed joint campus at the Mater Hospital; (3) Deputy Penrose — the need for the Minister to accept that SI 788 of 2005 implementing the nitrates directive requires considerable amendment; (4) Deputy Bruton — the need for the Minister to approve the establishment of a new school operating the applied behaviour analysis method of teaching for Dublin's northside; (5) Deputy Durkan — the decision by the Department to refuse one-parent family allowance to a person, details supplied, on the basis of the habitual residence condition; (6) Deputy McGinley — the urgent need to increase Garda numbers in the Lifford area due to the alarming increase in crime; (7) Deputy Moynihan-Cronin — the need for the Minister to provide funding for rape crisis centres to deal with the increased number of clients in need of these services; (8) Deputy Gogarty — whether the Minister will appoint a commissioner to carry out and have full responsibility for the functions of Fingal County Council; (9) Deputy Cowley — whether the Minister will indicate when regulations on practitioners in alternative medicine will be put in place in the interest of public safety; (10) Deputies Healy and Hayes — the need to prioritise Carrick-on-Suir for job creation in view of the ongoing serious level of unemployment in the town; (11) Deputy Deenihan — the Minister's plans in light of the recent announcement of the closure of Glen Dimplex factory in Tralee, County Kerry resulting in the loss of 70 jobs; and (12) Deputy Michael Smith — whether the Minister will ensure that the HSE approves enhanced accident and emergency, laboratory facilities and CAT scanning services for the County Hospital, Nenagh.

The matters raised by Deputies Neville, Moynihan-Cronin, Healy and Hayes, and Michael Smith have been selected for discussion.
