I seek leave to move a motion for the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of national importance and concern, namely, the urgent need for school premises for Gaelscoil Cholmcille, Whitehall, Dublin 9, and to make it a priority issue to assist pupils, teachers and parents in having a quality school providing education.

I seek the Adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of major national importance, namely, the disgraceful situation whereby only two ambulances are on call at night in Mayo for a population of over 120,000 in the third largest county. People's lives are in jeopardy owing to the failure to institute an ambulance base in the Achill-Mulranny-Ballycroy area, in the face of recommended minimum standards of ambulance availability to a population.
