I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the need for the Minister for Agriculture and Food to account for the position she adopted in the recent negotiations on the EU sugar regime given the decision of the European Council of Agriculture Ministers to overhaul the regime and the devastating effect this will have on the industry, especially in north Cork.
