I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Rabbitte — that the Government press the British authorities to agree to an independent inquiry into the murder of Raymond McCord in Belfast in 1997; (2) Deputy Catherine Murphy — the Minister's views on a recent report published by An Bord Pleanála highlighting increased instances of unauthorised developments; (3) Deputy Boyle — that the Minister explain the reason a person (details supplied) was not permitted to travel from here as a result of a false conviction; (4) Deputy Carey — the need for the Minister to examine how 15 Irish subcontractors can have their outstanding debts recovered; (5) Deputy O'Donovan — if the Minister will outline the date on which works are to commence on the new Garda station in Dunmanway, County Cork; (6) Deputy Broughan — the urgent need to appoint an agreed mediator to finally resolve the Corrib gas pipeline dispute; and (7) Deputy Morgan — the necessity for the Minister to make a statement on the five workplace deaths in the State this week.

The matters raised by Deputies Broughan, Rabbitte, Carey and O'Donovan have been selected for discussion.
