I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Cowley — to ask the Minister if she will ensure that enhanced subvention is still available to support older people; (2) Deputy O'Connor — the Minister's plans to respond in a positive way to the childhood development initiative ten year strategy; (3) Deputy Crowe — the Minister's plans in view of the research based anti-poverty childhood initiative, A Place for Children: Tallaght West; (4) Deputy Catherine Murphy — the funding approach towards disabled persons' and essential repairs grants by local authorities; and (5) Deputy Broughan — the need for the Minister to ensure the universal postal service obligation is discharged by the management of An Post.

The matters raised by Deputies Cowley, O'Connor, Crowe and Catherine Murphy have been selected for discussion.
