I wish to advise the House of the following matters in respect of which notice has been given under Standing Order 21 and the name of the Member in each case: (1) Deputy Pat Breen — to ask the Minister to explain the effective closure of St. Michael's pre-school in Ennis to children under seven with special needs; (2) Deputy Healy — the need for the Minister to approve the relocation of the Tipperary Institute from its current location to the Watson Estate, Ballingarrane, Clonmel; (3) Deputy Breeda Moynihan-Cronin — the proposed removal of staffing grants for community child care facilities in County Kerry; (4) Deputy Lynch — the warnings from the IMO that Cork city's refuse crisis has become a health time bomb; (5) Deputy Naughten — the need for the Minister to review the approval of the National Roads Authority design manual for roads and bridges under the Roads Act 1993; (6) Deputy Cowley — if the Minister will carry out an independent quantified risk assessment on the upstream pipeline at the Corrib gas field pipeline; (7) Deputy Enright — to ask the Minister if he is aware of the change of use of a power station from the combustion of peat to the combustion of meat and bonemeal in Edenderry, County Offaly; and (8) Deputy McCormack — the serious matter of the number of applicants for postal votes who had their applications refused for the Údarás na Gaeltachta election.

The matters raised by Deputies Cowley, Naughten, McCormack and Breeda Moynihan-Cronin have been selected for discussion.
