I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the fact that 75% of qualifying farmers in Kerry have not to date received their REP scheme 4 payments, despite the undertaking by the Department that this would be completed by now, and that the failure to do so is causing considerable financial difficulties for farmers who had borrowed money on the understanding that they would now have received their payments and who are unable to make bank repayments because of this.
