I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the threat to those among us at the mercy of a system that is failing to meet their needs, that is, the homeless. They are the victims today of Government spin, which sees the announcement of new measures for them to access essential shelter, but without the financial input to make such plans a reality.
