Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
10:30 am
Ciarán Lynch (Cork South Central, Labour)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance requiring urgent consideration, namely, the fact that the orthopaedic service at Cork University Hospital was allocated just 100 outpatient referrals under the national treatment purchase fund for 2008; that this allocation has already been filled; that no additional referrals can now be made until 2009 and that patients are suffering as a result.
