I wish to seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, that house prices have fallen drastically in the past three months, specifically by €40,000, five times the national average, in south Dublin; the need for the Government to step in as the housing market continues to slow; and the failure by the Government to put in place measures to help vulnerable people on low and average incomes who are at risk of negative equity and facing house repossession.
