I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to discuss the following matter of urgent national importance, namely, that the Minister for Foreign Affairs report to Dáil Éireann on Ireland's efforts with its EU partners to bring about an immediate end to the appalling conflict in Gaza and to urge the Israeli Government and the representatives of the Palestinian people to urgently reconvene peace talks; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
