Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
4:00 pm
Caoimhghín Ó Caoláin (Cavan-Monaghan, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to discuss the following matter of urgent national importance, namely, the revelation that patients are still facing waiting times of up to a year and a half for vital tests, including colonoscopy examinations, for suspected cancers and the need for the Minister for Health and Children to take urgent action to address this scandalous situation which is depriving thousands of early and timely diagnosis.
