Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
4:00 pm
Aengus Ó Snodaigh (Dublin South Central, Sinn Fein)
Ba mhaith liom cead a lorg rún a rith chun an Dáil a chur ar Athló chun gné rí-thábhactach a phlé láithreach, namely, the need for the Government to reassess Ireland's relationship, particularly the preferential trade agreement, with Israel in the light of recent attacks in the Gaza Strip in which so far at least 116 Palestinians, including 22 children, have been killed and 350 wounded and the threats from Israeli Prime Minister Ehud Olmert that air strikes, ground strikes and special operations are all possible which will, undoubtedly, lead to further loss of life.
