Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
10:30 am
Aengus Ó Snodaigh (Dublin South Central, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to debate the following matter of public interest requiring urgent consideration, namely, that falling house prices are putting more and more people at risk of negative equity, the likelihood of house prices continuing to fall and repossessions being on the increase and the need for the Minister of State with responsibility for housing to come up with innovative solutions to support those facing negative equity and the loss of their homes, particularly young families.
