Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 32
10:30 am
Michael D Higgins (Galway West, Labour)
In accordance with the terms of Standing Order 32 I seek the adjournment of the Dáil to discuss the following specific and important matter of public interest, namely, the need for the Minister for Foreign Affairs to take appropriate steps to ensure the safe passage out of Gaza, where they were distributing medical supplies and other forms of humanitarian assistance to orphanages and hospitals, of two Irish citizens, Treasa Ní Cheannabháin and her daughter, Naisrin el-Safty, and their niece, Sehan, who is an Egyptian citizen. In view of the importance of this issue I hope you will agree to this request.
