I congratulate the Ceann Comhairle on his election. I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 32 to discuss a matter of national importance, namely, that the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform report to Dáil Éireann on the steps that have been taken to support Mr. John Gallagher, senior counsel, the eminent legal person appointed to review all of the new evidence relating to the Stardust disaster of 1981, on how much of the agreed funding for the review process has been transferred to date, to indicate when the remainder of this funding will be released and to outline the proposed timetable for carrying out and concluding the review and to indicate the outcome he expects from that review.
