I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the failure of the Minister for Health and Children and the Health Service Executive to provide 24-hour ambulance cover to the people of Scariff and all of east Clare. In this area, people's lives are endangered when they are left without rapid response ambulance cover which is crucial in emergencies.
