Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
Paul Gogarty (Dublin Mid West, Green Party)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the need for the Ministers for Transport and Defence to carefully study and comment on the submission by Weston Limited to the Irish Aviation Authority in respect of plans to turn Weston Aerodrome into a business airport for Dublin, in light of the fact that the company's proposals were made without consultation with local residents or, it appears, the local authorities in Kildare and south County Dublin, which would, obviously, have some input into the planning process.
