I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following matter of urgent public concern, namely, the necessity for the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children to make a statement on the persistent over-crowding problems at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda whereby elective admissions are being cancelled regularly because the day care unit is being used to deal with emergency cases, causing needless hardship to the patients affected, and what action she intends to take to address this unacceptable position.
