Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
12:00 pm
Séamus Healy (Tipperary South, Independent)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of local and national importance, namely, the need for the Tánaiste and Minister for Health and Children to stop the wholesale and disgraceful withdrawal of medical cards, including from cancer patients, now under way, under the guise of the introduction of the GP-only card; and to ask the Minister to make a statement on the matter.
