Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
4:00 pm
Olivia Mitchell (Dublin South, Fine Gael)
I seek leave to move a motion for the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss the following matter of public concern: the inexorable rise in road traffic deaths, eight this weekend and seven deaths last weekend; the latest EU figures revealing Ireland as the only country with significant growth in road traffic deaths and the need for urgent Government action from the Minsters for Justice, Equality and Law Reform and Transport.
