Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
5:00 pm
Dan Boyle (Cork South Central, Green Party)
I seek the adjournment of the business of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss a matter of urgent public importance, namely, that the Minister for Enterprise, Trade and Employment intervene in the situation involving Irish Ferries Limited where management of that company is seeking a replacement workforce which will be paid less in a gross contravention of the spirit of the national partnership process and a likely cost to the State of some €6 million.
