I ask that the business of the House be suspended under Standing Order 31 to allow us debate a matter of urgent national interest, namely, the proposed closure by Iarnród Éireann of its container freight business which, following on from recent closures of other freight lines and other freight services, will further add to the pattern of increasing HGV traffic on our roads with all the environmental safety and social problems that would entail.
