I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the current financial situation at the Abbey Theatre, especially with regard to the recent disclosure that the theatre is in much greater debt than previously indicated, the need for the Minister for Arts, Sports and Tourism to make a full statement to the Dáil on this matter and the requirement for a clear indication when a new location for the Abbey Theatre will be selected.
