I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the report on the increase in obesity in Ireland, the Government's plans to tackle this serious problem and the need for the Minister for Health and Children to explain the Government's decision to endorse the Nutrition and Health Foundation which has been set up to include a number of obesity friendly or obesogenic companies which the Leas-Cheann Comhairle has asked me not to list for reasons best known to himself. Under protest I respect his ruling.
