I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to debate the following urgent matter: the need for the Minister for Justice, Equality and Law Reform to explain how his Department practises work-life balance given his threat to transfer workers within the prison service to any other location in the country away from their family homes, a policy which will be most felt by prison staff previously located at Fort Mitchel, Spike Island.
