I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to raise a matter of national importance, namely, the closure of Barford Meats plant, Carrickmacross, County Monaghan, with the loss of 82 jobs and the proposals the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment has to replace these jobs.
