Requests to move Adjournment of Dáil under Standing Order 31.
3:00 pm
Aengus Ó Snodaigh (Dublin South Central, Sinn Fein)
I seek the adjournment of the Dáil under Standing Order 31 to discuss the following matter of public interest: the urgent need for the EU Presidency to ensure the immediate suspension of EU preferential trade with Israel, in view of that country's latest attacks on civilians in Gaza using helicopter gunships, tanks, bulldozers and other armoured vehicles as well as the destruction of water and electricity networks, in gross violation of international law. This is another example of Israel's extensive record of violations during the course of its occupation of Palestine.
